交通區位 Traffic location

岳陽通江達海，是湖南唯一的臨江城市，臨長江、畔洞庭，區位優越、交通便捷，承東聯西、南北貫通，成爲長江中游和中國中部地區閃耀的“黃金十字架”。

公路方面：京港澳高速公路、106、107國道穿境而過，隨岳、岳常、岳長、石華、通平等五條高速公路推進建設。

鐵路方面：京廣鐵路縱貫全境，武廣高鐵開通運營，荊岳、嶽九鐵路正在建設。岳陽已進入長株潭、武漢城市群半小時經濟圈，全面融入珠三角三小時經濟圈。

水運方面：萬里長江黃金水道依境東流。國家對外開放一類口岸城陵磯新港區已建成使用，可直航日韓、香港、臺灣等國家和地區。

空運方面：近鄰長沙、武漢機場。岳陽機場建設已納入國家“十二五”規劃，目前已正式啓動專案前期工作，即將進入建設階段。

Highway: Beijing-Hongkong-Macao Expressway, National Highways No. 106 and 107 run through Yueyang. Suizhou-Yueyang, Yueyang-Changzhou, Yueyang-Changsha, Shishou-Huarong, Tongcheng-Pingjiang Highways are under construction.

Railway: Beijing-Guangzhou Railway and Wuhan-Guangzhou High-speed Railway run through the whole city, and Jingzhou-Yueyang and Yueyang-Jiujiang Railways are under construction. Water transport: The golden Yangtze River flows along the north of Yueyang eastward to the sea. Chenglingji Port, a national first-class open port, has been constructed and put into use, extending to Japan, Korea, Hongkong, Taiwan, etc.

Air transportation: Yueyang is adjacent to Changsha and Wuhan Airports. Yueyang Airport construction has been programmed in the national “Twelve-Five” plan. The preliminary work of the project has been officially started, and about to enter the construction phase.

Economic and technological development zone: Yueyang Economic and Technological Development Zone was approved as a state-level economic and technological development zone in March, 2010. 臨港産業新區：湖南城陵磯臨港産業新區作爲國家長株潭“兩型社會”建設綜合配套改革試驗區的濱湖示範區，東接巴陵石化，南抵杭瑞高速，西臨長江，北至長嶺煉化，總規劃用地面積100平方公里，規劃建設面積69平方公里，其中23.6平方公里核心區規劃分爲港口航運物流區、裝備製造産業區、能源建材産業區、新興産業區、港口貿易服務區五個功能區，是發展港口航運物流、裝備製造等臨港型産業的理想投資地。到2020年湖南城陵磯臨港産業新區將建設成爲長江中游區域性航運物流中心，湖南省石油化工、電力能源、現代造紙、裝備製造、新興産業基地，岳陽的産業高地、示範新區、臨港新城。

工業園區：目前，全市共有平江工業園、岳陽縣生態工業園、湘陰工業園、臨湘工業園、汨羅工業園、雲溪工業園、南湖旅遊度假區等7個省級園區。汨羅工業園列入國家首批迴圈經濟試點，臨湘市、湘陰縣被列爲全省重點承接産業轉移試點縣，雲溪的精細化工、華容的紡織、臨湘的化工農藥被確定爲省級産業基地，還有生物醫藥、綠色食品、陶瓷建材等也形成了特色産業集聚區，爲承接産業轉移提供了完備的載體。

當前，岳陽依託臨長江、臨城陵磯港、臨洞庭湖等地域特點和優勢，正在全力打造“三臨”經濟，加快三大新産業群發展。

臨長江的重化工業。岳陽是中南地區重要的石化基地，有以“中石化長嶺煉油總公司與巴陵石化集團公司”爲龍頭的石化工業群；原油加工能力達到700萬噸/年，重油催化裂化能力300萬噸/年，焦化處理能力120萬噸/年，催化重整能力160萬噸/年；可提供46萬噸/年三苯、80萬噸/年液化氣、4.5萬噸/年乙烯、30萬噸/年重芳徑、1.4萬噸/年氫氣資源。目前，依託中石化龍頭企業發展的下游精細化工企業213家，精細化工産業鏈已發展到農藥、化肥、有機合成材料三大材料共25個行業。隨著巴陵分公司“煤代油工程”和長煉1000萬噸/年煉油裝置的投産，岳陽精細化工産業發展將迎來更爲廣闊的發展空間與機遇。

Pro-Yangtze heavy chemical industry: Yueyang is an important petrochemical base in Central China, having the petrochemical industrial group led by " Sinopec Changling Refinery Corporation and Baling Petrochemical Corporation "; crude oil processing capacity of 7 million tons / year, heavy oil catalytic cracking capacity of 3 million tons/year, coking capacity of 1.2 million tons/year, catalytic reforming capacity of 1.6 million tons/year, providing 460,000 tons/year toluene, 800 thousand tons/year LNG, 45 thousand tons/year of ethylene, 300 thousand tons/year Chongfang Drive, and 14 thousand tons/year of hydrogen resources. At present, there are 213 downstream fine chemical enterprises relying on the development of Sinopec industries, 25 industries developed from fine chemical industry chain to pesticides, chemical fertilizers, organic materials, synthetic materials. With Baling Company’s "Coal Project" and Changling Refinery’s 10 million tons/year oil refining installations in operation, Yueyang fine chemical industry will usher in a broader space and opportunities for development.

臨城陵磯新港現代航運物流産業。全市共有物流企業290家，從業人員達6000人，全市港口貨物吞吐量居全國內河主要港口第七。城陵磯松陽湖新港區開港運營，港口作業設施配套完善，建有3個5000噸級國際集裝箱專用泊位和1個散貨泊位，年吞吐量28萬標箱，散貨100萬噸（全部三期工程建成後年吞吐量88萬標箱，散貨580萬噸，整體通過能力達1000萬噸）。該港口不但服務湖南，而且對長江沿線城市具有較強輻射作用，已完全具備各類生産要素大進大出、大集大散的基礎條件，發展現代航運物流産業前景廣闊。

臨洞庭湖生態旅遊産業。洞庭湖濕地達19萬公頃，是被列爲國際濕地名錄的國家級自然保護區，也是亞洲面積最大、功能齊全的內陸濕地保護區。1994年，岳陽東洞庭湖被確定爲國家級旅遊風景名勝區。近年來，我市依託環洞庭湖豐富的生態旅遊資源，大力發展生態旅遊産業，被定爲“中國觀鳥之都”，獲得“最值得駐華大使館向世界推薦的中國生態城市”稱號。拓展建設岳陽樓新景區，成功舉辦了湖南旅遊節開幕式、洞庭湖國際觀鳥節、君山島愛情主題活動和端午旅遊文化節等，打造“熱遊岳陽”的城市名片，年接待境內外遊客1400多萬人次。深度推進旅遊景點和文化有機融合，重點打造岳陽樓憂樂文化、君山島愛情文化、汨羅江龍舟端午文化、洞庭湖觀鳥生態文化等旅遊文化品牌。
